Gorgeous Silk Dress by Diane Freis. Featuring her signature shirred waist, silk tassel ties at neckline, and lots of fabric creating movement when you walk. Such a feminine dress. This dress was made in Hong Kong in the 1980s. The condition is great apart from the elastic in the sleeves has been removed. The shirring in the waist is like the day it was made. The skirt section is made from large panels and has inverted pleating and also buttons down centre front so you can show some leg. The sleeves feature a panel of plain green silk in an inverted pleat. The matching fabric shoulder pads have been removed from this dress but will be sent with the dress. Label says dry clean only but this silk is able to be hand washed in cold water and line dryed. Roll in a towel to remove excess moisture. You should never wring/twist silk. Has a spare button sewn into side seam.
Best fit a 10-12 au. model is a size 10. Measurements:taken with the garment laid flat one side only. Bust up to 50cm, Waist 28-38cm, Hips free, length from shoulder to hem is 126cm but it will be shorter when worn as it blouses over the shirring at the waist.
