Vintage 1980s Diane Freis dress giving glam boho vibes. Made in Hong Kong from polyester georgette. Single gold threads run through the floral fabric. The dress is semi sheer. You might want to wear a half slip, or not. Elastic peasant neckline which you can wear off the shoulder etc. Signature shirred waist, tassled ties at neck and frills. The bodice frill and the tiered skirt have gold and black lace trim. A feature of many Diane Freis items is that one size will fit 2 to 3 sizes due to clever use of shirred waists, blouson tops and voluminous skirts. Condition is excellent. Please note: I have replaced the elastic at the neck and the waist.
Best fit 12-14 au but please check measurements taken with the garment laid flat, one side only. Bust 40-50cm, Waist 36-48cm, Hips upto 70cm, Length from waist to hem 80cm. Overall easy fit, comfy to wear. Has been gentle machine washed, no ironing required.
