Beautiful georgette maxi dress by Diane Freis. Featuring her signature shirred waist, ruffles on neckline and down the sleeves. Faux cross over on skirt section with ruffle trim. Long sleeved dress drapes across the body, can also be worn low on one shoulder..This dress was made in Hong Kong in the 1980s. The condition is excellent. The shirring in the waist is like the day it was made. Fabric is polyester georgette. A feature of many Freis items is that one size will cover 2-3 sizes, clever use of shirring at waist, blouson tops and voluminous skirts. Best fit a 10-12-14 au. Measurements:taken with the garment laid flat one side only. Unstretched and stretched. Shoulders no seams, Bust up to 58cm, Waist 25-42cm, Hips up to 70cm, Length waist to hem 102cm.
