Shop 55 Vintage Clothing Boutique has maintained a presence on the Central Coast for over 18 years.

We originally started in Ettalong Market and traded only at weekends. Our hobby was eventually to become a very serious passion.
The first full time store opened its doors in Point Clare, on Brisbane Water drive. It was situated in an old art gallery, a perfect setting for the vintage works of fashion we had on display.
The immediate success of this eye catching establishment encouraged and eventually convinced us to expand into recycled clothing. And to do our bit to promote more sustainable fashion ethics.

In time, the building was bought and demolished. We then moved onto Blackwall Road on the main street of Woy Woy, where we have been trading for the past 15 years. We briefly expanded with a second store in Umina, that traded for two and a half years.

Our fortunes have ebbed and flowed as vintage trends have come and gone. Yet, we are always finding new (old) items to keep us interested.

In seeking things from the past, we’ve realised these items are a direct link to who we were. Mirroring the aspirations and self-expression of generations, looking to the future, or reliving the past. It’s a uniquely human activity, and we love to be a part of it.
